Events
Spearhead is constantly organizing events to raise funds and awareness for sustainable development. We also produce music and artwork with the goal of inspiring a new generation of activists, while at the same time bringing in much-needed cash to support creative and innovative sustainability projects both at home and abroad.
THE CAUSE
On February 23rd, 2008, Christine Gioia of Spearhead Action Group SA organized The Cause, a massively successful charity gig in Pretoria, South Africa, featuring the cavalry of the country’s hard rock scene.
THE REVOLUTIONARY PARTY
On May 2nd, 2008, the day after Labour Day, Spearhead Action Group NL formally kicked off with the Revolutionary Party, held in one of the historical basements along the Oudegracht in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
LIVE MUSIC
In addition to producing recorded music, Spearhead also organizes live music, in the form of open stages, jam sessions, set performances and street music. The first such event was Wasted, an open microphone night aimed at raising awareness for the waste production that inevitably results from our present levels of consumption.
